What is a body scrub?
A scrub or body polish is a revitalizing spa treatment which exfoliates the skin on the body leaving it feeling fresh, smooth, moisturized and soft. An abrasive product is rubbed vigorously and massaged across and into the skin. It is then rinsed away to reveal a moisturized layer of fresh, clean, and smooth skin.
What product will you be using?
Biotone Micro Buff Body Polish. This unique creme-based exfoliation treatment contains spherical Biodegradable Buffing Beads, natural Luffa and Apricot Powder to gently refine and smooth skin. An infusion of Wheat, Apricot and Alpha-Hydroxy Lactic Acids accelerates cell renewal to unveil petal soft skin. It is ideal for sensitive skin.
Ingredients include: Water, Blend of Jojoba, Avocado, Peach Oil, Sunflower Oil, Emulsifying Wax NF (vegetable derived), Cetyl Alcohol (non-drying emulsifier), Paraffin Wax Beads, Micronized Luffa, Micronized Apricot Seed Powder, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Wheat Amino Acid, Lactic Acid, Polysorbate 20 (water dispersant), Carrot Oil, Carbomer, TEA, Quaternium 15, Phenoxethol/Mixed Parabens.
What areas will be scrubbed?
Back, Legs, Feet, Arms, Hands, Shoulders. Neck and Pec area, if requested.
Will I need to take a shower?
No. We will wipe away the scrub with hot wet towels.
What if I just want a back scrub?
No problem! We can scrub the back and massage the rest, if you desire. Same applies if you just want legs or just arms, etc. Cost is the same.
What are the contraindications?
We can not perform a body scrub treatment if you have any of the following conditions;
-Cancer
-Pregnancy
-Fever
-Infectious skin conditions (Eczema, Poision Ivy, Shingles, etc)
-Allergic to Ingredients
-Recent scar tissue (less than 6 weeks)
-Fragile, Broke, or Sunburned skin
