We are super excited to announce that Sea of Tranquility Massage will be RE-OPENING on May 25th!
Lots of questions have arose in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic about the changes in policy and the guidelines we must follow to make sure we are all safe during Phase 1.
These guidelines are as followed;
Heather and I are limiting ourselves to 3 appointments each per day. The current guidelines have made it necessary for us to put an hour break in between each appointment so we can make sure we have enough time to properly clean and sanitize the studio, and to effectively minimize the likelihood of outgoing clients crossing paths with incoming clients. With that being said, there will be NO online scheduling at this time. To ensure we fully comply with current social distancing protocol we will be manually putting the appointments in the system until further notice.
There is no longer a waiting area. We can only allow clients inside that have an appointment. You can not bring anyone else with you.
We ask that you wear a mask coming into the building. If you do not have a mask, one will be provided for you. Unfortunately, you must wear a mask during the massage.
Upon arrival, we will take your temperature with a touch-less infrared thermometer. If it reads 100 degrees or higher, we must reschedule your appointment. We will also have you sign a liability form answering some questions about COVID-19 symptoms and that you understand the potential risk since we will not be able to keep six feet apart from you.
Though not mandatory, we are encouraging clients to prepay for their appointment to avoid physical contact for payments in office. You can prepay with a credit card or through Paypal, Venmo or CashApp.
Your therapist is required to wear a mask at all times. However, we are only required to wear gloves if we are working on your face during the massage, or post-massage if we are taking payment from you in office.
For those who are not comfortable just yet to get undressed or to lay on a table for a massage, we will have the option for a fully clothed 30 minute chair massage session.
During Phase 1, we are not allowed to take appointments for anyone who is in the high-risk category for COVID-19: pregnancy, diabetics, and/or those who suffer from heart disease, respiratory disease, compromised immune system, and/or anyone 65 years of age or older.
